It is now possible to use Wellstep as a private person!

As a private individual, you can buy a Wellstep subscription and get access to all the features of Wellstep. In addition, you can use your wellness allowance if you have one.

Once you have placed the order, you will receive a receipt that you can submit to your payroll administrator or register in your eployee health portal if you have access to one. If your employer is affiliated with Wellnet or Epassi, you can also place your order there and the cost will be deducted from your wellness allowance.

You can choose whether you want to run one challenge for the whole period or several shorter challenges. You can alternate between step challenges and activity challenges as you wish throughout the period!

Step challenge

In the step challenge, steps are counted. This is most easily done with an app on your phone or with an activity tracker or pedometer. When you create the challenge, you choose the start and end date and the virtual route you and your friends want to walk. It is also possible to convert around 60 activities into steps and count them in the competition.

To automatically sync your steps with Wellstep, you can use Google Fit, Apple Health, Pacer, Fitbit or Garmin. You can also enter your steps manually.

Activity challenge

In the activity challenge, the goal is to move at least 30 minutes a day. It doesn’t matter what kind of activity, the important thing is to do something! All activities score 1 point per minute. It is easy to register your activities in the app or via the web.

How it works

1. Order

To access Wellstep as a private individual, you first order the service here on the website. You can easily pay by Swish or credit card and access the competition immediately.

Do you have a wellness allowance left? Then you can submit the receipt to your payroll administrator or in your wellness portal and be reimbursed for the cost.

2. Set up a challenge

When you log in to Wellstep for the first time, choose whether you want to create a new challenge or join an already created challenge. Here you can select a step challenge or activity challenge, start and end dates and distance if you have chosen a step challenge.

If you want to join a challenge set up by a friend, this step involves entering a code to join that challenge.

3. Invite friends

To invite friends to your challenge, you need a code that you can get after creating a challenge. You can see it both immediately after creating the challenge and afterwards in the settings.

If you want to join a friend’s challenge, you need a code from your friend that you enter in step 2.

4. Run the challenge!

The competition is now open and you can register your steps or activities in the Wellstep app or by logging in here on the website.

5. Restart

You can end a challenge at any time to create a new one or join a friend’s challenge.

Get started right away

The cost of Wellstep for you as a private individual is 89 SEK for one month or 169 SEK for 3 months (incl. VAT).

Remember that you can use your wellness allowance if you have one! (Wellness allowance is comming in Sweden)

You will receive a receipt directly by SMS/email which you can submit to your payroll administrator or register in your wellness portal if your employer has one.

It is possible to extend the challenge at any time on the competition page. After ordering, you will receive a receipt of payment from our payment provider Kwikk and an email from Wellstep with your login. If your email has not arrived within 5 minutes, please contact us.
