With anonymous chats in Wellstep365 Engage, HR can ask follow-up questions directly based on employees’ free-text responses—without revealing the employee’s identity. This makes it possible to deepen the dialogue and gain more concrete insights, while fully preserving anonymity.

How Anonymous Chats Work

An employee submits a free-text response

Pulse surveys include different types of questions: scale questions (1–5), where employees can add a comment to their answer, and open-ended questions, where the answer is always provided as free text. Anonymous chats can be used for both.

HR asks a follow-up question

HR can respond to the comment and ask for clarification, for example:

“Can you tell me a little more about what makes the workload so high?”
“Do you have any suggestions on how this could be improved?”

The conversation takes place in an anonymous chat linked to the response.

The employee responds—completely anonymously

The employee can continue the conversation via a secure chat. HR can never see names, email addresses, or user accounts. The only thing visible is the conversation itself.
